Amidship Natural Skincare is all about providing locally made products with natural ingredients that work! We look for organic ingredients and formulate with vegan options when possible. If we can find local quality ingredients, that’s a bonus! All products are only tested by willing humans, and suppliers have provided information on their stand against animal cruelty and testing. We aim for zero waste or recyclable packaging that can easily travel in a shave kit, on the plane, or in a tight boat space. Ask about our bottle recycling discount.

Angela started creating arts crafts and design products in childhood, which required a lot of hand washing. Those creative hands became sensitive to harsh ingredients in mass market products and the search began for something that worked on sensitive skin. With the world on pause she went back to school and learned to formulate natural skin care and hair care products for family and friends.

Our first product was a skin repair oil that cleared blemishes, a chemical burn and dry patches. It was always exciting to see a natural home-produced product do what it was designed to do. Within three years and many willing testers, I was told many times, “You should sell this!”, so finally I said “Okay!”

In December 2022, we opened the business and began focusing on formulating and all those other business tasks including how to get the word out while still working another job.

We owe our success to date to family members willing to pitch in and help with everything from stocking inventory and paper pushing to cleaning and sanitizing. Looks like an exciting future!
